The museum offers visitors practically designed rooms after a comprehensive reinstallation and reconstruction of the permanent exhibition. The reconstruction took place in April 2017. Visitors can interact with replicas of rare exhibits to better understand the needs and lives of people with disabilities. The museum has four floors.
The new exhibition is designed to ensure that visitors feel comfortable during their tour. They can engage with the exhibits using multiple senses, learning about the history of people with disabilities in an engaging and natural way.
