I take due note of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). (Hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) operator, which is the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information, Lamačská cesta 7315 / 8A, 811 04 Bratislava, processes my personal data to the extent of my e-mail address (entered during registration) for the purpose of providing library services in the form of using the digital library of the Museum of Special Education in Levoča. Personal data is processed for this purpose on a legal basis: the processing is necessary to the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

I acknowledge that without entering my e-mail address, I will not be registered in the digital library and will not be able to use this library information service.

My e-mail address will be kept for this purpose for as long as I am registered in the digital library. It means 24 hours from my registration. Subsequently, if I am interested in continuing to use these services of the digital library, I will register my e-mail address again.

When processing on the legal basis of performing a task in the public interest, I have the right at any time to object, for reasons relating to my specific situation, to the processing of personal data concerning me (including objections to profiling based on that interest). In a such case, the controller may not further process personal data unless he or she demonstrates the necessary legitimate reasons which outweigh the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the reasons for proving, asserting, or defending legal claims.

I confirm that I have also received further information on the processing of personal data in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR. It has happened by means of a written document published on the controller website:
