The museum is a unique institution that has documented the history of special education in its entirety, focusing primarily on four key areas: visual, auditory, physical, and mental disabilities.

Our exhibition
The new exhibition is designed to ensure that visitors feel comfortable during their tour. They can engage with the exhibits using multiple senses, learning about the history of people with disabilities in an engaging and natural way. Visitors can interact with replicas of rare exhibits to better understand the needs and lives of people with disabilities.

Weekends and bank holidays
We are closed on weekends and bank holidays.
JUNE to SEPTEMBER
Monday to Friday
9:00 – 17:00 (guided tours at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:00)

10:00 -18:00 (guided tours at 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00, 17:00)
Please note:
- The guided tour lasts for 45 minutes.
- Organized groups are limited to a maximum of 15 visitors.
- Please book in advance (at least 24 hours).
